FAQ
Does the presentation need to be in Tamil? – Not necessarily, but communicating in Tamil gets 5 points
What kind of project/product/poster? – It could be anything from existing to novel based on given topic
Can I do it induvial or must be a team? – Team approach is great, if you don’t find, do it individually
DO I need to make poster for model? – yes, its good to have poster for models too to explain the details
I am part of other program, what to do? – That’s why a team is good , you will have 2 hours slot on July 4
Zonal Meet
Each student must attend a zonal 1:1 review meeting to share their idea and receive encouragement from our team.
Zonal Meet Presentation Format:
3 minutes presentation + 2 minutes Q&A
( Time: 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM EST)

- OH, CT, NH, NY – May 17
- MD, VA – May 18
- FL – May 23
- NJ, SC – May 24
- TX (Elementary) – May 25
- TN, KS, IL, MO, AL, LA – May 31
- TX (Middle & High School) – June 1
- CO, UT, CA, WA, OR – June 2
Michigan Students – You may present your poster/model in person (May 10 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM) at Farmington High School.

🌟 Special Note for NC Students – As the host state, North Carolina students get a wildcard entry to the FeTNA finals — no zonal meet required.
Science Exhibit Topics
- Elementary School: Discover the Wonders of Science (Focus: Science & Technology in Everyday Life)
- Middle School: Engineering Solutions for Today (Focus: Innovation for a Better Tomorrow)
- High School & Young Adults: Designing the Future with Technology (Focus: Shaping the Future)
Students can submit a poster or a working model based on these themes.
Students need to bring their own tripods, laptops for final event.
Judging Criteria
- Title/Content/Creativity – 10 points
- Relevance to Theme / Problem Solving – 20 points
- Presentation & Communication – 20 points
- Tamil Language Usage – 5 points
- Research Depth & Accuracy – 20 points
- Practical Feasibility / Working Model – 20 points
- Audience Engagement – 5 points
