FeTNA is an organization that brings together various Tamil cultural and community groups across North America. The member sangams (or associations) are central to FeTNA's structure, as they serve as the foundation or building blocks of the federation.Each member sangam is typically an independent Tamil association representing a local community in different cities or regions. These sangams share a common interest in preserving Tamil culture, language, and traditions, and they collaborate to organize cultural events, educational programs, and social activities.The basis of the federation lies in these member sangams working together, pooling resources, and sharing knowledge and experiences to strengthen the Tamil community in North America as a whole.
